This workshop was already presented on 9 June. Feel free to download the:

Description

Ever spent hours trying to fix a broken link? Ever felt helpless when faced with the source code of a page created in Dreamweaver or Frontpage? This two hour workshop will provide participants with a basic understanding of html (the language behind web pages). We will take a look at the most up-to-date HTML standard (called XHTML) and learn to understand an html document, add a link, add an image and edit a document by hand. Knowing the html basics will allow you to:

  • Make edits to an html document by hand
  • Identify the cause of errors and broken links
  • make changes to an html document from within WebCT or Blackboard

NOTE: For those who would like a more in depth workshop, we recommend the SSDU course "HTML by hand"

Presented by: Dorian Peters, Educational Multimedia Designer at CoCo
