Wai Yat's research includes video annotation for education (EVA project) and location awareness in mobile learning (Iris project) and he is currently involved in two collaborative research grants for research on ICT-supported Education.
He is also responsible for the strategy and management of all Information Systems within the Faculty. He supports Peter Reimann, the Faculty's Associate Dean for ICT, in planning and implementing ICT strategies to support teaching, research, scholarship, management and administration. Coordinating infrastructure, developing a back-up paradigm, Document management, and hi-tech teaching facilities are just a few examples of the work he leads.
