Professor Michael J. Jacobson has been invited to participate in the Assessing and Teaching 21st Century Skills project that is being supported by Cisco, Intel, and Microsoft. A two day planning conference will be held following the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) in San Diego next month. The project will operate primarily through four working groups:

Leader: Mark Wilson, University of California, Berkeley
Leader: Beno Csapo, University of Szeged, Hungary
Co-leaders: John Bransford, University of Washington and Marlene Scardamalia, University of Toronto
